Polo Events | Prince Harry Gets Negative News For Hurting His Polo Pony During Polo Match
Prince Harry , the hot Ginger royal has made the news, for something negative and momsword.org is annoyed by it because he is a good man with a good heart.
It all starts out with the UK paper, The Daily Mail having the title of the article about Prince Harry : “Prince Harry faces animal cruelty claim over polo pony’s stab wound from his spur ” and pictures are included of the horse with the injury.
The article blames Harry for hurting his polo horse while playing a polo match at Guards Polo Club located at Windsor Great Park back July of this year. But sadly, pictures of the incident have just emerged. Since then, witnesses have said there was an injury to the horse and he continued using the polo pony during the polo match without knowning the truth why he kept using his polo pony.
The Post Chronicle is saying that the Hurlingham Polo Association is investigating the incident due to the photos coming to surface. But according to Hurlingham’s vet David Morley, who examined the pony after the match at Guards, he believed it to be a collision that was responsible for the wound.
Then another newspaper in the UK called Mail Online , spoke to Andrew Tyler, an Animal Aid’s Director. Tyler said the following,
“It was a heartless and utterly selfish thing to do. Polo is a very rough activity that causes stress and injuries to horses. The use of spurs in such a fast-moving event is a vicious indulgence.
“Spurs are unnecessary for a competent rider and should not be used to punish a horse for the rider’s failure to gain advantage. Prince Harry comes from a background of hunting and shooting which is at odds with the vast majority of the British public.”
Later a spokesman for St. James’ Palace said that once Prince Harry had noticed his horse had suffered a injury, the game was stopped and the horse was treated and allowed back into the polo game. The horse is okay now.
So since momsword.org loves polo and attended many polo events we are going to say this. First the photos are just that photos. Yes it proves the horse was injured but it doesn’t prove that he didn’t stop and got the horse checked out. That isn’t how Harry is or the rest of the polo players are. They take great pride in their polo ponies and if their horse gets hurt, they get off, give it to whoever is taking care of the horse and get a new one. Then the vet who is at all polo matches rushes over to examine the horse.
Yes, there is always a vet during every polo match to check out each horse, or if they get an injury and if the horse is okay then they will continue using the horse — per the vet’s orders. Prince harry is NOT heartless, he is a good , smart man and if the vet said not to use the horse, he would follow the vet’s orders.
Yes we are tired of the negative press Prince Harry has, especially if the newspapers don’t talk to the royal hot prince or have met him. We have met him and we have all positive things to say about him.. so when the newspapers say something negative out him, we will defend him, we defend the people we have met or have got to know in real life, that is just how momsword.org is!
